Well , located in the heart of Athens , Ellyz café is a fairytale place with delicious brunch and pink cakes !But what made Ellyz cafe Athens so special that even its now open for only a few months its became the hottest spot in Greece’s capital ?
The stunning floral decoration is the answer ! Have you ever been to EL & N London café or Aubaine at Selfridges ? If you have been there you can understand that these spots were the original inspiration for the most girly spot Ellyz cafe Athens . With walls full of beautiful flowers, all of them in a pink color palette make this café a dreamy place , a real fairytale!!
The iconic neon sign that says ‘’ Happiness is coffee and flowers’’ creates the perfect background for the coolest Instagram pictures .
Velvet sofas and chairs in pink and blue colors complete the café’s iconic look . The most extravagant piece in Ellyz cafe Athens was the pink bar made of pink onyx , simply wow !!!! It literally stole my heart!Now if we move to the first floor we will see beautiful purple wisterias all over the ceiling .
It’s a scenery that reminds me so much of the Aubaine café in London. It made me feel like I was in London and not in Athens anymore ! The place is a dream! As soon as you step inside you are out of Athens’ touristic centre and into a whole different vibe!
That’s why this cafe always has a big queue outside unless you are there at 9:00 am like I did ! I literally was the first person to get inside . But the stuff was offering a free drink at the people who were waiting outside. That’s a very friendly and nice touch you won’t see in London . That’s Greek hospitality !
Well , Ellyz café except the extraordinary decoration , it has very delicious options for you to drink and eat ! From pink coffee ( yessss <3 ) to matcha bowls and pink cakes , Ellyz will offer you the sweetest breakfast ! If you are going to visit Ellyz on weekends you can enjoy some gorgeous brunch ! Super tasty eggs and pancakes in heart shape with maple syrup will definitely satisfy you and fullfil your taste expectations.
Their price list is quite normal , I would say . We paid about 21 euros for 2 drinks and 2 brunch plates .
Almost forget Ellyz café is open until 12 at midnight with a nice selections of cocktails , so you can enjoy this little paradise even at night !
So , is Ellyz café worth the hype ?
Definitely yes ! The place is beautiful , much more than the places you usually go and it offers also a very tasty menu ! So , you don’t only pay for the fancy Instagram photo but also for a delicious Sunday brunch with your friends !
