Well , Paris is one of my favorite cities in the whole world ! Both Tarik and I love the city of light so much ! We have been 2 times in Paris already and the one was for Paris Fashion Week ! It’s a charming city , it’s exactly what you have seen in the movies and what you have read in books ! The most romantic city in the world !
So , in such a romantic place you should definitely look fabulous ! You aren’t thinking to pack only your sweatpants for Paris , right ? I hope the answer is no because I’m going to show what to wear in Paris in order to look absolutely stunning!
You are in the dreamiest place in the whole world and so you have to look gorgeous ! I’m sure that you want to create some amazing memories in Paris and full the family album with photos , right ? So , you need to be your best version! I can help you with this !
So first ,before we decide what are you going to wear in Paris, we have to discuss about the weather . Are you going to visit Paris in spring , summer , fall or winter ? So you only need to pick the right clothes for each season! You can’t wear the same clothes in the winter and in the summer of course !
So , we are going to consider three factors on what to wear in Paris. First , it’s the season , comfort and glam !
1)WHAT TO WEAR IN PARIS DURING SPRING (MARCH , APRIL , MAY )
Let’s start with spring . So let’s say you are visiting Paris in spring which I believe is the best period to visit it !Spring in Paris is an extremely beautiful season , color comes back to the city ! At the begging of the season the temperature starts from 7 C and can get up to 16 C , at the end of the season the average temperature is from 11 -20 C . Also we have to consider that it rains around 8 days every month during spring . So , according to all these let’s find what to wear in Paris in spring
For your daily walks
You will need a very nice light teddy coat to keep you warm in the chilly mornings , a nice raincoat for the rainy days and a pair of super stylish ankle boots . To be honest in the past I wasn’t a big fan of ankle boots but now with all these extraordinary designs , I adore them !Also you will need some nice wool sweatshirts , jeans and chinos ! To add a little more glam to your outfits you must carry an unexpected bag , don’t you think ? I mean don’t wear a backpack even if its Louis Vuitton because your whole appearance will be nice but flat ! For me the best bag you can carry is a basket bag !
For your night outs and romantic dinners
Oh come on you are in Paris , I’m sure you are going to go for a romantic dinner in a nice bistro somewhere in Paris ! What are you going to wear there ! Well , a nice silk wrap dress with some simple sandals , a small clutch or mini bag and a jacket ! Perfect ! Of course you will need a jacket because spring nights in Paris can be a little cold !
2)WHAT TO WEAR IN PARIS DURING SUMMER ( JUNE , JULY , AUGUST)
Summer in Paris is very beautiful actually ! The average temperature is 15 – 25 C but there are still rainy days during summer months in Paris . During daytime the weather is nice and warm! The mornings and nights can be a little chill but you need to know that the weather in Paris is always unpredictable . Now let’s see what clothes you are going to wear in Paris during the summer months !
For your daily activities and walks
During summer you will need lighter clothes than spring . So you will definitely need a nice white light blazer , light trousers, ruffle wrap skirts and some bardot tops ! Yes , you are going to make a vintage Parisian appearance this season ! As for the bag again I would recommend you to carry a nice straw basket , you can also use it for you picnic under the Eiffel Tower ! Don’t forget to take some amazing Instagram pics ! And don’t forget to pack hair scarves and straw hats !
For your night outs
You can’t avoid a nice dinner and of course walking down Alexander Ponte 3 bridge during summer nights in the city of lights , right ? A nice white shirt dress , glitter shoes and a fringe mini bag ! Chic and boho without being too much ! Also you can wear a nice long dress pink or white with some nice flats , your favorite mini bag and a nice satin headband ! If you want a more ‘’princess look’’ !
3)WHAT TO WEAR IN PARIS DURING FALL (SEPTEMBER , OCTOBER , NOVEMBER)
Fall is an unpredictable season for Paris . Mornings can be cold and some afternoons can be hot ! But summer heats are gone and the maximum temperature is 15 C . So , Paris is getting colder and preparing itself for the winter !
For your daily activities
During fall you will definitely meet a lot of rainy days in Paris so you will need to pack a very stylish black leather trench coat , cardigans to keep you warm , nice trousers and jeans ! I always prefer trousers than jeans , I find them more stylish ! I am a big fan of the androgyne style ! You will need some nice loafers and boots to keep you dry during the rainy days ! Again you will need a nice big bag so you can have all your necessities with you!
For your night outs
A very nice boho dress with balloon sleeves at the length of your ankle and your leather black ankle boots , a nice ponytail and your favorite mini bag ! You will stay warm and stylish ! Don’t forget to add some gold vintage inspired accessories like earrings to give a little old glam to your outfit ! Also you can create a chic office look with a nice grey suit and a nice white cardigan inside your loafers and a cute teddy bear coat ! In this look don’t forget your red lipstick !
4)WHAT TO WEAR IN PARIS IN WINTER
Baby its cold outside ! The average temperature for the winter months in Paris is 3-8 C . So yes , it’s cold and rainy outside ! And maybe sometimes a little snowing ! So , if you are visiting Paris for Christmas for example, which is a very beautiful and festive period to vsiti you will need warm clothes for sure !
For your daily activities and walks
You should wear a sherling coat because it’s going to keep you warm , leggings and a pair of black leather boots ! Also you should definitely carry your warmest cardigans ! A nice black leather bag and voila you are stylish and ready ! You know this will be your template and everyday you will change the tights with a pair of jeans or wool tights and the cardigans with some sporty sweaters ! Except for the shearling coat you can also wear a teddy bear coat so you don’t feel that you are wearing the same outfit everyday !During winter scarves , gloves and beanies are must haves in Paris ! So , try to pack with you a set of them in black or some neutral color so you make sure that it will match with all your outfits !
For you nights outs
You are in Paris , it’s Christmas , where are you going to go for xmas eve ? Or more important what are you going to wear ? If you are feeling very extra , I would suggest you a maxi full glitter dress with a faux fur jacket and some really simple black sandals or pumps and a tiny little gold bag ! Wow , I love it ! You are going to be absolutely gorgeous ! As for the accessories , I would recommend you a simple , tiny chocker !
If you want to keep a lower profile , I would suggest a satin baby blue suit , extravagant shoes like glitter or strass or even feathers , a nice white crop top and a wool blazer or coat in neutral color and a mini bag ! You are going to be chic and fabulous ! You can always pop up by wearing some bold gold accessories , I would recommend earrings especially if you pull your hair back in a loose ponytail !
Oh and the best accessory for these outfits , it’s a glass of champagne !

Paris is very beautiful in all seasons ! what to wear in Paris depends on which season you are going to choose to visit it ! I choose to create outfits with key pieces that you may already have or even if you are going to buy some of them you will definitely use them again and again in your everyday looks !
