Hey beauties ! Today , we are going to talk about highlighters . Our lives will never be the same after the ” highlighter obsession ” . I was wondering , did the make up world always use highlighters ? I was taking a look on 2000’s photos and there was no obvious sign of highlighter . I read a very beautiful article about highlighting in Refinery29 ( read the article here ) and I understood that highlighting is a professional technique which was mostly used in theaters and indoor’s filming . This technique ”highlights ” the face , the bones or even an actor’s characteristics and makes an uplifting effect. So it was not only about that glow ! I’m not actress but I can’t go out without a little highlighter above my cheeks ! Yes , I am a highlighter addict !

HIGHLIGHTING PRO TIPS
- Blend it , blend it and blent it . Highlighter looks amazing on our skin but you have to blend it very well with the rest of the products . Sharp lines harden the face and that’s something we don’t want ! So grab your beauty blenders girls !
- Cheekbones , nose tip , above the lips and brow bones ! These four parts are more than enough for a beautiful , glowing face . Don’t overdo though !
- If you just started with highlighting , I would recommend you an easy product like the Bobbie Brown above . I use this when I don’t have time because its a mix of bronzer , blush and highlighter together ! For my pro girls , the KAT VON D holographic palette is here for you ! I love it , my favorite shade is BLUE SAPHIRE .
